This Mosman Park renovation and brick extension transformed the home’s living spaces while creating a seamless connection to the outdoors. The extended living area features a new fireplace, spotted gum flooring and triple-stacking double-glazed doors opening onto a new deck finished with concealed-fix spotted gum decking and an automated awning for year-round shade. The existing kitchen was completely gutted and replaced with a refined new design, centred around striking natural quartzite benchtops. Throughout the original home, the existing jarrah floorboards were carefully bleached and refinished to complement the new spotted gum—bringing the old and new spaces together with a cohesive, natural palette.
